Another busy year ahead and as
always, many things happening!
* We will be raffeling a 32in LED
TV on Dec 2nd at 6:30 p.m.
The donater wants the TV to go for
the Holiday Food Baskets!
YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE PRESENT TO
WIN!
Tickets are: 1 for $1.00 and 6 for
$5.00. Most Aux members
should have tickets or send in your
money and we'll put you in.
*BUDDY POPPY DRIVES, we have 2 left
; Aug 27th at the
WalMart at 4425 Venetucci Blvd.,
Sept 17th at Loaf "N Jug
at 102 S. Santa Fe Ave. Both start
at 9 a.m. and go till 5 p.m.
Any help and time you can donate is
greatly appricated!
*Aug. 20th is our Annual Picnic
this year. Starts at 10 a.m.
Have many activities for the youth,
and need many helpers for it.There
are sign up sheets for helpers: for
side dishes, to assist with the
youth games, help take a turn to
serve the food, the dunk tank needs
both - to run it & be dunked, must
be 18 at least to dunk.
*Sept 17th is The All
Activities/Patients Day held in
Pueblo. If
you wish to donate "Prizes" for
this, we will have a list on this
web site soon. If you wish to go
and help, please contact us.
*1st Friday each month is our
Dinner night, 5:00-6:30pm
*Second Tues Food Night 5:00 -
6:30pm 2nd Tue each month.
As always, this is still $5.00. Aug
& Sept is hamberger or Brat
* Aux. Meeting 3rd Tuesday of the
month at 6:30pm. Hope
to see many of you there. Do we
need to set up a car pool list?
Would that be a help to make it to
the meetings? Let us know!
* 3rd Thur. of each month, we still
have members with goodies
that go to Grinde Manor at 10am.
*Don't forget to bring or send your
Box Tops and used stamps.
These help our Schools and VFW
National Home for Children.
*REPORTS..Please get these turned
in!! This is how we let
National know what we have done so
they can show our
Legislatures what we do for our
Veterans and Community.
Just send in; what you did, the time, hours and any money you spent.
